With me this week is Dr Elizabeth Pritchard and Christine Burns from WALT Institute. Together this unlikely duo have a vision to create a global STEMM community that embraces Authentic Leadership by helping individuals reach their highest potential.
Both high achievers, (Elizabeth completed her PhD in just 3 years and Christine played Indoor Hockey for New Zealand for 13 years), they have also experienced their fair share of adversity leaving them well positioned to help others achieve great things.
Christine and Elizabeth speak candidly about overcoming the trauma of childhood sexual assault, receiving a life changing cancer diagnosis, playing sport at an elite level, equality, equity, quotas and so much more. There may be tears, there is plenty of laughter, there different opinions and most importantly the conversation is definitely authentic.
This is the story of two fearless friends on a mission to empower the women in STEMM.
