Upon completing her studies as an international student in Canada, Jette Stubbs was faced with the ultimate ultimatum – find a job in 90 days or leave the country. With no family to lean on and less than $100 in her bank account, Jette quickly realised she had a ton of skills but no idea how to market herself.
Jette joins me to discuss how she went from applying for 100 jobs and receiving no response to finding her dream career. Jette’s path to success has not been smooth in fact there have been many obstacles to overcome including her mother getting robbed and stabbed and her father being diagnosed with dementia when she was just 25. Becoming a full time carer overnight, Jette eventually realised that she didn’t just want a job, she needed to find a way to make money through the alignment of her lifestyle and values.
